Colorado man arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver

 

Mandan, N.D. – At approximately 4:30pm on December 13, a Morton County Sheriff’s Office deputy arrested a 29-year-old Colorado man during a routine traffic stop on I-94 after finding 30 pounds of marijuana in the man’s vehicle.

 

Jacob Todd of Loveland, Colorado was traveling from Medford, Oregon to Minneapolis, Minnesota in a vehicle with Washington plates when he was stopped for a speeding violation.

 

During the stop, the deputy observed Todd’s behavior to be possibly indicative of trafficking controlled substances. K9 Gabber was deployed around the exterior of the vehicle and indicated to an odor of an illegal substance. The vehicle was searched and 30 heat-sealed bags of marijuana were found, valued at approximately $30,000. Todd was charged with possession of a controlled substance with an intent to deliver, a class A felony.
