Morton County Honors Commissioner Ron Leingang for 12 Years of Dedicated Service
At his final Morton County Commission meeting on November 27, 2024, Commissioner Ron Leingang was honored for his twelve years of dedicated service to Morton County. The presentation included a heartfelt speech by Human Resources Director Wendy Bent, who spoke personally to her friendship with Commissioner Leingang and his steadfast integrity throughout his tenure. Fellow Commissioner Ray Morrell presented Leingang with a commemorative plaque on behalf of the commission as a token of the County’s gratitude.
Leingang, who chose not to seek re-election, will be succeeded by Paul Tokach, who was in attendance. Tokach, chosen by voters in the most recent race, will officially assume the role at the next commission meeting, continuing the work of representing the residents of Morton County.
Morton County extends its deepest gratitude to Commissioner Leingang for his service and wishes him all the best in the years to come.
