The Northeast Morton County Future Land Use Plan (NE MC FLUP) was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on November 22, 2016. The NE MC FLUP became incorporated into the 2045 Comprehensive Plan on February 8, 2018.

Rural Household Survey

The Morton County Rural Household Survey was conducted between November 2014 and January 2015 to measure attitudes and opinions of non-urban residents of Morton County, North Dakota, concerning land use and development. The results were used to inform the 2045 Comprehensive Plan. The survey was conducted by mail and sent to a random sample of Morton County households outside of city limits. A total of 368 responses were recorded, providing a solid representation of all rural households in the county. A report on the survey results is available here.
