Zone 4 Reassessment Results

Morton County has been divided into 10 assessment zones, each scheduled for periodic reassessment to ensure property values reflect current market conditions. Zone 4 was scheduled for reassessment during the 2024–2025 cycle.

After reviewing the data — excluding new construction to focus solely on market trends and updated assessments — here's what we found for Zone 4:

  • 206 properties (22.6%) saw a decrease in value

  • 160 properties (17.5%) had no change

  • 340 properties (37.2%) increased by less than 10%

  • 207 properties (22.7%) increased by more than 10%

This means that nearly 40% of properties in Zone 4 saw no increase at all.

 

Reassessment isn’t about raising revenue — it’s about keeping property values fair and accurate based on the real estate market. These updates ensure everyone is contributing their fair share and no more.
